Celebrating Tonen

After today’s dharma discussion, the sangha gathered to celebrate Tonen’s 80th birthday with doughnuts and coffee.  She’s seen here holding the case that will one day house a completed 9-row okesa, now being sewn by the sangha.  Well-wishers came and went, and the party went on until noon.
