MZC’s board met Monday and elected officers for the next year. They are:
President: Susan Winecke
Vice president: Larraine McNamara McGraw
Treasurer: Pete Tofte
Secretary: Mary Bernau-Eigen
Thursday MZC hosted the monthly meeting of the Buddhist Peace Fellowship, at which the participants discussed holding quarterly events, two of which per year would focus on fellowship, with the remaining two to center on discussion of issues of social engagement from a Buddhist perspective.
Today, Rain Day continued maintenance work on our facility’s exterior continued, with repairs made to the flashing around the windows.
Sangha member Bob Balderson also took the opportunity before this morning’s dharma discussion to put away the snow blower for the season and to make sure the lawn mower was in working order. Winter must be over!
